Weather and science communication drive my career, but did you know I also enjoy acting and film production as a hobby?
It’s true. I even have an IMDB page.
I find such fun and excitement in filmmaking and production. I have had some amazing opportunities to act in a range of films, from short independent thrillers to full length feature zombie movies.
This enjoyment in production was most likely the reason I went into broadcasting–it made total sense to merge my passion in science and weather with the excitment of producing live broadcasts and video media. (It’s also very possible that the movie Twister played a role.)
